Julia Arceri always had a passion for interior design but never had a chance to act on it. When she bought her first home, Arceri Interiors began, and a lifetime of infatuation for interiors was finally unleashed. Julia's style is unique - she is drawn to European, traditional, modern, and organic styles. This delightful mix can be seen in our latest partnership featuring various pieces from our Fifth Avenue Collection.
While searching the internet for hardware options, Grandeur Hardware immediately caught her eye and stood out above the rest. The long plates and traditional silhouettes spoke to her. She noted, "They also looked like they would be of fantastic quality, and I was right! The quality is outstanding, and it is beyond gorgeous. I want to use it in every room now!"
Julia incorporates her unique style within her home by choosing modern sitting furniture and traditional architectural elements and accents such as molding, doorknobs, mirrors, hardware, etc. She usually starts her projects with a mood board in Canva and pieces all the combined elements to ensure they flow together.
When she decided on her current home, she loved the layout and bones of it. She knew remodeling would be easy and affordable because of its layout. Although Julia is still working towards completing her entire home, the most challenging room has been the kitchen. Her house is open-concept, and renovating the kitchen was not fun because there was no privacy or separation. "I could only hide in my bedroom!" she pointed out.
Because of this, Julia recommends having separate private living spaces during large remodeling projects. Her tip for readers wishing to transform their homes is to take your time and not do or buy anything you aren't in love with!
Julia's closing note is this: "Find your own personal style! Hone it down by isolating what you love about different inspiring rooms. Do you love the colors? Do you love the architectural details? What don't you like in the room? Ask yourself many questions, and you'll eventually narrow down your style. Then run with it!"
